حول The Jones
The Jones, Combat, صمم بواسطة Brian LeBlanc صدر لأول مرة في يونيو 2001 في التحرير Final Nights وطبع بالضبط في 3 أشكال مختلفة.
The Jones is a niche card for a **Serpentis combat or wall deck** built around vampires who are older than the minions they expect to fight. At superior, it can stop a dangerous strike card—including a strike that would end combat—without paying a cost, though the opposing minion still gets to choose another strike. At inferior, it offers a dodge and a possible way out of combat. If your goal is simply to escape, **Majesty** or **Earth Meld** are stronger options when your vampires have the required disciplines: they end combat more reliably and do not have The Jones’s “ally or younger vampire” restriction. I would play The Jones as a small, situational inclusion in a deck that can use its superior effect, not as a staple; it becomes much less appealing if your vampires often face peers or elders.
