The Haunting fits a Dementation deck built around **attrition and action denial**: put it on a vampire that needs its blood, then force its controller to keep losing blood or spend an action removing it. At superior Dementation, the +1 stealth makes that plan more reliable. For most Dementation decks, though, **Kindred Spirits is the better use of an action** because it advances the main goal of taking an opponent’s pool, while The Haunting may do nothing beyond costing its target one action. I’d consider The Haunting as a niche card in a deck that can exploit blood-starved minions, but it generally should not see play in a straightforward bleed deck.
