Primal Instincts

حول Primal Instincts

Primal Instincts, Combat, صمم بواسطة Kevin McCann صدر لأول مرة في أكتوبر 1996 في التحرير Sabbat وطبع بالضبط في 2 أشكال مختلفة.

Primal Instincts best fits an **acting-vampire combat deck with superior Auspex** that wants to attack or keep taking actions but needs flexibility: after seeing the opposing minion’s strike, you can switch to a dodge if it is dangerous or to an offensive strike if it is safe. Its drawback is that the superior effect does nothing when you are blocking, while the inferior effect is just a dodge that costs a card and its printed cost. If your vampires have the disciplines, **Majesty** or **Form of Mist** are generally better choices when the goal is to escape combat, because they end it rather than merely avoiding a strike. I would play Primal Instincts only as a niche choice in an action-focused superior-Auspex deck that specifically values changing strikes; it is not a general-purpose combat staple.
