Preternatural Strength fits a Potence combat deck built around a vampire that expects to fight repeatedly, especially one using rush actions, Immortal Grapple, and Disarm: the permanent +2 strength at superior Potence can pay off over many combats. For most dedicated combat decks, though, **Torn Signpost is the better choice**. It boosts strength immediately, does not cost an action to set up, and gives +3 strength at superior Potence for the round; Preternatural Strength also prevents that vampire from playing it. I would play Preternatural Strength only if the deck reliably gets multiple fights from the same vampire and values lasting strength over immediate impact; otherwise, it is usually too slow to earn a slot.
