Paragon is mainly useful in a **Ventrue political deck** that relies on moving key vampires into play during influence, especially decks built around a large titled Ventrue acting as a vote machine and expecting to face many younger vampires trying to block or interfere. The extra vote against younger vampires is narrow but relevant, because many political decks use younger vampires as blockers or vote denial, and the blood burn on a successful block adds a small deterrent; however, the card is situational because it only works immediately after a vampire enters your ready region through influence and it occupies a unique master slot. In most competitive Ventrue decks, there are usually stronger master options: entity["other","Parity Shift","Vampire: The Eternal Struggle political action card"], entity["other","Banishment","Vampire: The Eternal Struggle political action card"], and vote-support cards like entity["other","Bewitching Oration","Vampire: The Eternal Struggle politi
