حول Mundane
Mundane, Master, صمم بواسطة Michael Gaydos صدر لأول مرة في مايو 2009 في التحرير Ebony Kingdom.
Mundane mainly benefits a Laibon toolbox or intercept/bleed-control deck whose vampires do not use Orun and whose meta contains important Discipline- or Virtue-requiring action cards, since it provides a zero-cost, out-of-turn answer to cards such as Govern the Unaligned, Deep Song, or other key actions; however, putting it on a vampire is usually unattractive because it makes every Discipline-requiring card cost an additional blood and is easily burned when that vampire gains Orun. Direct Intervention is generally better because it can cancel any card, regardless of the acting minion, Orun, Discipline, or Virtue requirements, although it costs pool and is more contested in deck space; Direct Intervention is the superior general-purpose choice, while Mundane is only worthwhile as a narrow metagame counter in a Laibon deck that avoids Orun and expects many high-impact qualifying actions. It should not see regular play outside that specific environment.
