حول Inner Essence

Inner Essence, Combat, صمم بواسطة Steve Prescott صدر لأول مرة في أكتوبر 2000 في التحرير Sabbat War وطبع بالضبط في 4 أشكال مختلفة.

Inner Essence is best suited to **Vicissitude-heavy combat decks, particularly Tzimisce rush or intercept/toolbox decks**, that regularly play blood-costing combat cards such as **Horrid Form** or **Breath of the Dragon**. At basic Vicissitude it merely saves 1 blood, making it a fairly modest use of a card slot; at superior it can effectively improve your blood economy by 2—one blood gained and one saved—provided you actually play a card with a blood cost and have room to gain the blood. It is especially attractive in aggravated-damage strategies, where **Taste of Vitae** is less useful because aggravated damage generally sends vampires to torpor rather than making them burn blood. **Taste of Vitae is usually the better blood-recovery option in combat decks that inflict substantial non-aggravated damage**, potentially recovering several blood with one card, but it depends on the opposing vampire losing blood to damage; Inner Essence provides more predictable support.
