The drawbacks are its dependence on an available torpor target, the additional action required after combat, and the possibility of being blocked; its zero printed cost does not make it free in terms of tempo. **There is no universally better replacement:** Far Mastery can steal a younger vampire without first putting it into torpor, making it more suitable for high-capacity Dominate decks seeking direct theft, while Govern the Una
