Duma Rafiki

حول Duma Rafiki

Duma Rafiki, Retainer, صمم بواسطة Leif Jones صدر لأول مرة في نوفمبر 2005 في التحرير Legacies of Blood.

Duma Rafiki best fits a close-range Animalism combat deck—especially an Akunanse or other ANI/POT build expecting to fight gun or weapon decks—because it provides a durable retainer and either removes an opposing weapon or adds 1 damage; however, it is quite narrow, since it does nothing at long range and is mediocre when the opponent has no weapon, while many Animalism combat decks prefer to stay at long range. Canine Horde is generally the better combat retainer because its damage is more reliable, and Raven Spy is better in decks that need intercept rather than combat pressure; dedicated weapon-hate cards or combat options such as Disarm can also be stronger when available. Duma Rafiki should therefore see play mainly as a metagame choice in a combat-heavy, weapon-filled environment, but it is not an automatic inclusion and is usually inferior to more consistent retainers or combat cards.
