Cailean (G2)

حول Cailean (G2)

Cailean (G2), Vampire, صمم بواسطة Will Simpson صدر لأول مرة في أكتوبر 1996 في التحرير Sabbat وطبع بالضبط في 3 أشكال مختلفة.

Cailean best fits a dedicated combat deck that cares about controlling range—most notably a Nosferatu antitribu gun or long-range combat deck, or a deck built around repeatedly choosing close range while exploiting Potence and other range-dependent effects—but his 10-capacity cost is very high for an ability that provides no maneuver, damage, prevention, or combat-ending effect. In a close-combat Potence deck, **Immortal Grapple** is generally better because it reliably forces close range while also shutting down opposing ranged strikes; in a gun deck, ordinary maneuvers, weapons, and combat cards usually accomplish long range more efficiently. Cailean’s Archbishop title may offer some political utility, but that alone does not justify him, so he should generally not see play unless the deck is specifically built around his range control, has strong combat disciplines and a suitable crypt curve, or expects a metagame where range denial is unusually valuable.
