Alvusia best fits a dedicated Tremere/Gargoyle toolbox or bleed-combat deck that reliably controls several Tremere and slave Gargoyles, since it can enter play with a useful counter reserve and repeatedly boost a Gargoyle’s bleed or strength; it is much less attractive in a normal Tremere deck because it is unique, requires Gargoyles specifically, gains counters slowly only during your influence phase, and disappears once its counters are spent. There is no direct replacement that provides exactly both effects, but purpose-built cards are generally better at their individual jobs: bleed decks prefer reliable modifiers such as `Conditioning` or `Govern the Unaligned`, while combat decks usually gain more from discipline/combat cards and permanent Gargoyle support than from Alvusia’s temporary strength bonus. It should see play as a one-copy value engine in a Gargoyle-heavy deck, especially one expecting a long game, but it is not an automatic inclusion and should be omitted from low-Gar
